Who's Policing Overtime is an infographic that illuminates the use of overtime in the Seattle Police Department as the leading cause for bloated annual funding. Our visualization of public salary figures shows the discrepancy in SPD budgets and actual spending, while also revealing which departments or individuals generated the most overtime billing in 2013. Arcade Magazine picked up the story for their Spring 2015 issue exploring data visualization and its illuminating effect on complex societal topics.
